The Zero Waste Coordination Office of Iskenderun Technical University carries out activities aimed at promoting sustainable environmental management, ensuring the efficient use of natural resources, and reducing waste generation across the university.
Our office seeks to strengthen environmental awareness among students, academic staff, and administrative personnel, expand the implementation of zero waste practices, and encourage sustainable habits throughout campus life.
Within this framework, efforts are undertaken to improve source separation of waste, enhance recycling and recovery processes, organize educational and awareness-raising activities, strengthen institutional practices in line with national zero waste objectives, and implement projects that contribute to environmental sustainability.
Operating under the coordination of Dr. Damla Anıl Çelebi, the Zero Waste Coordination Office aims to integrate environmental responsibility into the institutional culture of the university and contribute to its vision of a sustainable future.
