As the Zero Waste Coordination Office of Iskenderun Technical University, we recognize environmental sustainability as one of the fundamental principles guiding all of our activities.
We carry out our efforts in accordance with the principles of compliance with relevant legislation, efficient use of resources, reduction of waste generation, enhancement of recycling and recovery processes, and minimization of environmental impacts.
Our approach to quality is built upon the principles of continuous improvement, participation, transparency, and accountability. By valuing the opinions and contributions of our students, academic staff, and administrative personnel, we strive to enhance the effectiveness of zero waste practices and contribute to the development of a sustainable campus culture.
We regard quality not only as the successful implementation of processes, but also as the transformation of environmental awareness into an integral part of institutional culture. In this regard, we support the promotion of environmental consciousness through education, awareness-raising, and collaboration-oriented initiatives, while encouraging all stakeholders to actively contribute to sustainability goals.
