International Students preferred Iskenderun Technical University (ISTE)
According to the results of the International Student Satisfaction (ISS) survey administered by UNIAR (acronym for University Research Laboratory) in 2018, ISTE managed to get into the top 10 out of almost 200 universities. International Students’ responses in the “Student Satisfaction on University Management and Operations” category placed ISTE in the 8th place.
ISTE, which on the one hand continues to develop its education infrastructure to graduate qualified and expert individuals in their fields and on the other hand aims to provide the best education possible with its academic and administrative staff, continues to find itself a place in the top ranks of many surveys in spite of being one of the youngest universities in Turkey.
Most recently, ISTE achieved a good score in the UNIAR 2018 International Student Satisfaction (ISS) survey. According to UNIAR results, out of almost 200 universities in Turkey, ISTE was placed in the 39th place overall and in the 8th place in the “Student Satisfaction on University Management and Operations” category.
The ISS survey offers information on the extent to which international students’ needs have been met and their university experiences on a wide spectrum in the light of the data collected from them. International students’ experiences are accepted as an important indicator of international students’ satisfaction. The ISS survey respondents- selected from all universities across Turkey- were asked questions about their experiences in the universities that they were registered to and their answers were evaluated. The score that ISTE achieved is a strong indicator of ISTE’s determination to resolve students’ problems in a quick and effective way.
