Iskenderun Technical University Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering Master's Program is a postgraduate education program that aims to train qualified experts by integrating the fundamental principles of petroleum and natural gas engineering with advanced engineering knowledge, scientific research, and application skills. The program focuses on training engineers who can produce analytical, innovative, and scientific solutions to complex engineering problems encountered in the energy sector. Within the scope of the program, students acquire in-depth theoretical and applied knowledge in areas such as drilling engineering, reservoir engineering, production engineering, well completion, natural gas engineering, energy systems, advanced fluid mechanics, and numerical modeling. Students gain both academic and sectoral competence through the use of current engineering software, simulation techniques, and scientific analysis methods. Through master's thesis studies, students conduct original, scientific research that can contribute to national/international literature in the field of petroleum and natural gas engineering; and have the opportunity to conduct solution-oriented studies on real field problems within the framework of university-industry collaborations. The program offers a solid research foundation for students aiming for an academic career, while also providing advanced professional skills for engineers who want to specialize in the sector.
